Amazing what you can see during your lunch break when working at Fetlar Primary. We all scoffed lunch to go see this juvenile splash about, we were freezing but it was great!
I spent last week in Ardnamurchan, the guy who I got the cottage off said that minke whales were frolicking in the bay the previous week. I had my telescope out but saw virtually no wildlife whilst I was there, but that was more than made up for by the sky at night. I almost got in the red phone box to contact Burt Lancaster at Knox Oil and Gas. What’s the sky like above Shetland?
